Rake and Roast at DuBois

Fall is winding down at DuBois Center, and that means leaves are all over the ground! We could certainly use some help raking them all up and keeping DuBois beautiful.

If you’re looking for an afternoon of service and fellowship for your youth or fellowship group, or even a day with family or friends, come out to DuBois on Nov. 20 to rake the leaves. We promise we’ll let you jump and play in them as well!

We’ll also have the bonfire going, so bring hot dogs and buns to enjoy over the open fire. We’ll provide the roasting forks, condiments, beverages and, best of all, S’MORE FIXIN’S! There are also plenty of rakes already on-site.

You and your group can arrive anywhere between noon and 3 p.m., and depart between 4 and 6 p.m. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect – call 618-787-2202 or email dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org.

DuBois Center Trivia Night!

Join us for an evening of fellowship, fun and knowledge! DuBois Center is hosting a Trivia Night on Saturday, Nov. 12 – and you’re invited! All proceeds will benefit DuBois and the summer camp program.

Trivia Night will be held at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and trivia will begin at 7:00 p.m. You may bring your own beverages and snacks to share with your table.

The cost will be $100 per table (up to eight people), and there will also be mulligans available for purchase. In addition, there will be a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing and attendance prizes.

To reserve a table today, contact DuBoisFundraising@gmail.com. Payment is due at the event. For more information, check out the flyer here.

If you’re interested in volunteering for the event, please reach out to the email above.

We hope to see you there!

Fall Festival!

October 2, 2016

It is never too early to start thinking about and preparing for DuBois Center’s annual Fall Festival. Each October, this event attracts approximately 2500 church and community members. It is our biggest friend and fund-raising event of the year. Mark your calendar and plan now to participate! The first Sunday in October is the traditional day for this extravaganza; it would be great if you could steer other church events away from this date if possible.

Mother-Daughter Retreat

October 14-16, 2016

A family tradition for many… why not make it one for yours? Laugh, play, sing and maybe even dance! Relax and re-energize your relationship with your daughter, mother, granddaughter, niece, aunt or other special woman or girl in your life. This playful, faith-based, fun-filled weekend may be just the break you need from hectic fall schedules. Weather permitting, activities will include archery, engaging Bible exploration, canoeing, crafts, creative dramatics, a hayride and campfire, hiking, music, pontoon boat rides, yoga and worship. You can even opt for a horseback ride. Register online at the top of the page or print this registration form and mail us a completed copy.

For more information about Mother-Daughter Retreat and our other fall activities, check out this brochure.

Attention High School Campers!

Adventure Tree is coming back!

We’re super pumped for High School Week, and are excited to announce that Adventure tree will once again be a part of the fun!

Please bring the completed waiver (with PARENT/GUARDIAN signature for campers under 18) to check-in on SUNDAY, JUNE 26.
