Don’t Miss Out on These Stunning Quilts!

Fall Festival and the much-anticipated Quilt Drawing are THIS SUNDAY (you don’t need to be present to win).

This year, two beautiful and unique queen-size quilts have been donated. One is a stunning block pattern in steel blue and tan. The second is an elegant log cabin design in colors from the Southwest. With these works of art, we hope to raise over $2,000.

You can help by spreading the word – share this opportunity with your friends and family! A flyer with photos and tickets are available. Completed tickets and payment must be received at DuBois Center by 4:15pm Sunday, Oct 6 to be included in the drawing.

Volunteers Still Needed for Fall Festival on October 6

Fall Festival, DuBois’ annual fundraiser, can’t happen without YOU!

There are lots of ways to help – serve food or serve as a cashier, catch pontoon boats or walk horses at the arena, drive a tractor or captain a boat, take tickets or sell them, assist with crafts or melt wax for candles, set up before the event or stay and clean up after!

DuBois Center’s annual Fall Festival is powered by the talent, sweat, love and cheer of scores of volunteers. YOU CAN HELP TOO! Time commitments of 2 hours or longer work best.

To volunteer, contact DuBois Center at dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org or 618-787-2202. Send or leave a message with your name, areas of interest, phone number and best times for you to volunteer.

Thank you in advance!

Live Music at Fall Festival 2019

Each year, we are blessed to have a great line-up of local bands and musicians at our Fall Festival. This year is no exception!
These groups, many of which return year after year, volunteer their time. Many of their members have a personal connection to DuBois Center and/or the UCC.
So sound the trumpets and beat the drums as we welcome and thank:
11:00 am  Polka Connection – a local favorite, you’ll be dancing before you know it
12:30 pm  The Haneys – an uplifting Southern Gospel group that performs throughout the region
1:30 pm     Faith Journey – the joy-filled praise band from St. Paul’s UCC in Freeburg specializing in Christian and pop favorites
3:00 pm     Venedy Band – a perennial favorite, concert band Americana
Use this flyer to help spread the word about DuBois Center’s Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct 6, 2019.

It’s Quilt Time!

The clock is ticking…the annual DuBois Center Fall Festival is just one month away and so is the much-anticipated Quilt Drawing!
This year, two beautiful and unique quilts have been donated. Both are queen-size. One is a stunning block pattern in steel blue and tan – elaborate machine stitching makes the back side nearly as beautiful as the front. The second quilt could have come right out of an elegant log cabin in the Southwest.
With these works of art, we hope to raise a minimum of $2,000. You can help by spreading the word!
A flyer with pictures is available to assist. You are also invited to sell tickets and display one or more of the quilts at your church on a Sunday morning or during a special event. Contact Carol Shanks at shanks@htc.net or 618-920-2904 to reserve a quilt.
Thank you for your support of DuBois Center! Join us at Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 6 to see who wins the quilts!

Calling all Retail Divas!

Plans are coming together for DuBois Center’s annual Fall Festival. One area still in need of an implementation team is the Upscale Resale Shop & Silent Auction.

Volunteers to pick-up, store and deliver items to camp are already in place. Now a team is needed for Saturday & Sunday, October 5 & 6 to set-up and run the shop.

Tasks include unpacking, setting up, pricing, recruiting cashiers and managing the shop and silent auction the day of Fall Festival. No need to start from scratch, helpful hints will be provided.

If your church or fellowship group might be interested, please contact Nancy Wagner at 618-444-2835 or email or DuBois Center at dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org or 618-787-2202.
