Another crowd favorite returns! This weekend is just like our summer horse camp, but with more time with and on the horses! Also, who said you could only ride horses? We’ll have activities like horse apple bobbing, campfire cookouts with your horse, confecting horse treats, a barn party, and many more horse games.

Designed for participants ages 12 and over who love horses, this could very well be the highlight of your spring!

Wrangle and Ride March 23 Registration Deadline

There are still a couple openings for the first Wrangle & Ride of the season on March 23, 2019. Join other horse enthusiasts (12 years to adult) for some quality time with our herd of 20 horses. Clover, Thunder and Zephyr are calling your name!
This event is limited to the first 12 who register – which means more time in the saddle for everyone! Just be sure to register by the deadline on Saturday, March 9.

Wrangle & Ride — Saturday, Nov 3

Love horses? If you are age 12 or older, join us on Saturday, Nov 3 from 9am – 5pm for a day of fun with the DuBois Center herd! Designed for both beginner and experienced riders, this is a horse-intensive day of instruction – tackle grooming, tacking, riding, and other horse-related activities. Beginners will be introduced to basic skills, while experienced riders work on more advanced options. The cost for this event is $60 with lunch included. Families are welcome.

Join our equestrian team on Saturday, November 3 from 9am – 5pm for a full day of fun with the DuBois Center herd! Spring Brochure

Spring is a great time of year at DuBois Center! Signs of new life are everywhere. The air is fresh and clear, and there is so much to do. Our reservation book is filling with youth groups, school camps, retreats for women and confirmation students, church work days and scout groups. There is still time to plan an event for your church or group, or to get involved in one of the many events sponsored by DuBois Center.

DBC Retreats

In addition to our do-it-yourself retreat options, DuBois Center also offers several retreats throughout the year. These weekend and day-long events are built around different areas of interest and are perfect for getting away and enjoying the outdoors. Overviews of these retreats are included below. Retreats in 2024:

Father-Son Retreat – March 15-17, 2024

This popular favorite is the best excuse to get the guys in your house, well, out of the house! Use DuBois Center as your playground to enjoy time with your dad, son, nephew, uncle, grandson, grandpa, or even someone who you think of as one! Geared for ages 5 to 100, you can bond through fun activities like horseback riding, archery, campfire cookouts, nature hikes, games, hayrides, or fishing. Click here to register.

  • Pricing: $140 for adults, $125 for youth (ages 12-17), and $110 for children (ages 5-11).

Mother-Daughter Retreat – March 22-24, 2024

This retreat brings the generations together to celebrate and build relationships. Reserve your spots now for our weekend of relaxing and connecting with the moms, daughters, aunts, nieces, or grandmas in your life! With crafts, relaxation, and optional horseback riding, this is just the weekend you need to spend some time with the ones you love! Click here to register.

Adult Horse Retreat – April 6-7, 2024

Finally, a Horse Retreat for adults! Not to be confused with the Youth Horse Retreat, this retreat is designed for participants at least 18 years old. Get away and spend the weekend riding horses, see old friends (both human and horse friends), or make new ones around a campfire by the lake. Click here to register.

Women’s Retreat – April 26-28, 2024

Unlike Mother Daughter, you can come to this all by yourself or with some other adult friends! Spend the weekend doing anything but ‘adulting!’ This retreat is all about relaxing, getting away from everyday life, and meeting new friends. No cooking, no stress, just fun and relaxation! The programming is designed as an adult getaway, so we do ask that all registrants are 21 and over. Click here to register.

Youth Horse Retreat – April 27-28, 2024
