Hickory

  • Window treatments in lodge housing – two windows per room
  • Hickory Loft is used as the staff break room during summer session. While our dedicated staff’s time is short in this space, they recharge in this suite with private time to nap, call home, and gear up to jump back in. Sweet gifts for our staff suite are always welcome!

Equestrian Program

  • We are ALWAYS accepting denim jeans in good repair, equestrian helmets in all sizes, and cowboy boots with heels in any size so we can continue to offer a library of riding gear to our campers.

    • The infirmary has, for years, used a four-seater golf cart to reach ill and injured campers promptly. In the case of an off-road or truly serious injury, it would be critical in our ability to cooperate with limited emergency service response in our rural location to have a vehicle with additional abilities:
      • Transportation of prone patient (on a backboard or unconscious)
      • Navigation of wet, muddy, or uneven terrain
      • Weight limit of 600+ lbs for transport of patient(s), equipment, and staff
