Explore what it might look like to serve in the field of camp and retreat ministry. What does a camp and conference professional really do? Does this type of job require a theological education? What skills are required? Where can I find training opportunities? Where are openings posted? What can I do now to prepare for a future in this ministry? Find answers to these questions and expand your network. The ecumenical Focus Event is held annually and rotates between UCC and Presbyterian camps in the Midwest. This year it is at DuBois Center. Six denominations with formal outdoor ministry associations – Church of the Brethren, ELCA, Episcopal, Presbyterian, UCC and UMC are now working collaborative to provide discernment and educations events.
