Lenten Devotional

As you prepare for the coming of Holy Week and Easter, we invite you to use the wonderful Lenten devotional created by Rev. Don Wagner with help from friends from DuBois Center and Green DuBois. Through inspiring messages and photos, this piece speaks to those who find comfort, wisdom and challenge in God’s creation and word. With spring bursting out all over southern Illinois, this tool is even more timely.

CAMPS for Younger Children

Children who have completed grades 1-3 are often looking for ways to experience life like the “big kids.” Parents are looking for opportunities for their children to gain self-confidence, critical social skills and a greater awareness of God’s world. At DuBois Center, we have five part-week sessions designed with this in mind. Shorter sessions and smaller group sizes are ideal for this age group. Their time is filled with new adventures under the watchful eyes of caring, safety-conscious leaders.

These shorter sessions include time to ride a horse, explore the creek, swim in the lake and make lots of new friends. This summer choose from Boy Meets Camp, Camp Quest, Discovery Camp or Girl Power. Check out page 8 of the camp brochure online for details or pick one up in your church office. To have information sent by mail, contact DuBois Center at email or 618-787-2202. Ready to register? Click here.

Plumbing Skills?

Do you or does someone you know have plumbing skills extraordinaire?  DuBois Center periodically has projects that require skilled volunteer assistance in this area. Currently, the bathrooms in Hickory Lodge are at the top of our priority list. The old shower fixtures are leaking; some need to be replaced, others need to be removed and capped.

For more information contact Shirley at 618-787-2202 or dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org.

Thank You Party — Sunday, April 28 – Save the Date
