Don’t Miss Out on These Stunning Quilts!

Fall Festival and the much-anticipated Quilt Drawing are THIS SUNDAY (you don’t need to be present to win).

This year, two beautiful and unique queen-size quilts have been donated. One is a stunning block pattern in steel blue and tan. The second is an elegant log cabin design in colors from the Southwest. With these works of art, we hope to raise over $2,000.

You can help by spreading the word – share this opportunity with your friends and family! A flyer with photos and tickets are available. Completed tickets and payment must be received at DuBois Center by 4:15pm Sunday, Oct 6 to be included in the drawing.

“I Spy” is on the Road Again

I’ve got my tickets! Do you?! Each year, the Happy Quilters of St. John UCC, Mascoutah stitch and promote an amazing youth quilt to support DuBois Center. This year’s “I SPY” treasure is based on the popular books of picture riddles. It is 70 x 80 inches of fun created from 120 different fabrics!
Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The church matches what the Happy Quilters raise, so each dollar you donate is two dollars for DuBois Center.
The traveling quilt still has a few stops to make before the grand display at the 40th Annual Quilt Show at St. John UCC on April 27. It you can’t catch it live, click here for tickets, then print and mail them to the church with a check payable to “Happy Quilters.”
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Final tour stops:
Sun, March 24 – St. Peter’s UCC, Okawville
Sun, April 7 – Christ UCC, Dupo
Sat, April 27 – 40th Annual Quilt Show at St. John UCC, Mascoutah

Calling all Quilters!

For over a decade, a quilt drawing has been a significant piece of the annual DuBois Center Fall Festival. In recent years, we have been blessed to have two or more art quality quilts donated to the drawing each year, which together have raised between $1,500 and $2,500 annually.

The quilts are typically donated by local church quilting groups and other friends of DuBois Center – would you or your quilting group be interested in donating a quilt for the 2019 Fall Festival? Queen size quilts seem to be the most popular, and those with designs appealing to a wide audience and made with love and prayers are perfect.

Ideally, the quilts begin traveling to local churches in August, so a July completion date works well. Please contact the DuBois Center office at dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org or 618-787-2202 for more information. We’d love to talk to you about the possibilities.

There’s Still Time to Buy Your Quilt Tickets

Fall Festival is THIS SUNDAY, October 7, and there is still time to buy 1 quilt ticket or 20! Check out this flyer with photos and print your own tickets. NOTE: All completed quilt tickets with payments must be received in the DuBois Center office by 2:00 pm on Sunday to be eligible for the drawing. Mail them today with a check or deliver them in person. A special THANKS to everyone who has been selling tickets at church and around the community, and to everyone who has purchased them.

It’s Quilt Time!

The clock is ticking… less than 9 weeks until the annual DuBois Center Fall Festival and the much anticipated Quilt Drawing. This year, three beautiful and unique quilts have been donated. Two are queen-size and one is twin-size. One is a salute to our 50 states; one has an elegant diamond-star pattern; and one has fun blocks in shades of brown and gold. With these gems, we hope to raise a minimum of $2000.
