Join us for a Service Saturday on November 2!

Stretch your muscles! Breathe fresh fall air! Hang out with friends and lend a helping hand!
Youth and adult fellowship groups, individuals, families – everyone is invited to our second Fall 2019 Service Saturday on November 2.
Projects vary, depending on the skills of those involved and the weather. Stacking wood, painting, cleaning and raking leaves are on the list, as are a variety of skilled labor projects. The work may not be glamorous, but it really does make a BIG DIFFERENCE!
Click here for a flyer to post and share, and here for a typical Work Day schedule. Please let us know in advance if you plan to attend. It would be a shame if we ran out of paint, nails or fresh-baked cookies! Contact DuBois Center at 618-787-2202 or dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org.

Volunteers Still Needed for Fall Festival on October 6

Fall Festival, DuBois’ annual fundraiser, can’t happen without YOU!

There are lots of ways to help – serve food or serve as a cashier, catch pontoon boats or walk horses at the arena, drive a tractor or captain a boat, take tickets or sell them, assist with crafts or melt wax for candles, set up before the event or stay and clean up after!

DuBois Center’s annual Fall Festival is powered by the talent, sweat, love and cheer of scores of volunteers. YOU CAN HELP TOO! Time commitments of 2 hours or longer work best.

To volunteer, contact DuBois Center at dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org or 618-787-2202. Send or leave a message with your name, areas of interest, phone number and best times for you to volunteer.

Thank you in advance!

Join us for the Buddy to Buddy Mission Experience

Looking for a meaningful and affordable summer mission trip for the young people of your church? Look no further! Bring your youth and “buddy-up” with day campers from Hoyleton’s residential programs. Help create a setting that is welcoming and accepting. Get your hands dirty with a work project, and spend quality time reflecting on this experience and God’s call to “do justice, love kindness and walk humbly.” Buddy to Buddy will run from June 30 – July 3 in 2019. The experience begins with orientation on Sunday afternoon and concludes after dinner and a closing circle on Wednesday. Registration is by church or region group, not individual. Adult chaperones must accompany youth participants. The cost is $175 per person. Space is limited. Click here for more information or contact DuBois Center at dcinfo@DuBoisCenter.org or 618-787-2202.
